Access Resources
American Express Radios: Action Audio at
Wimbledon in partnership with American Express
Action Audio is a service co-designed with blind
and low vision tennis fans. It uses data captured live
during a match to create sound cues for visually
impaired courtside guests to better understand
what’s happening in the match, such as shot type
and how close the ball is to the line. Action Audio
can be experienced for Centre Court and No.1 Court
through American Express Radio headsets that also
provide live broadcast updates of action during The
Championships. Available at the American Express
Kiosks around the Grounds and the Accessibility
Services Kiosk. Guests with visual impairments can
collect an American Express Radio free of charge,
subject to availability and while supplies last
Accessibility Lanyards
At Wimbledon we understand that not all disabilities
are visible. We have Sunflower lanyards available from
the Accessibility Services kiosk, which can be worn to
signify to sta that you may need additional assistance
during your visit.
Sta recognise that those wearing a sunflower lanyard
may also require additional assistance.
