The PTA is a national non-profit organization dedicated to:

 Supporting and speaking on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community,

and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting

children;

 Assisting parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and

 Encouraging parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation

Community participation is vital to the success of our mission. We simply cannot achieve our

goal of enriching the educational opportunities of our children by bringing our schools, families,

and communities together without the support of both individuals and local businesses. We are
