students with the opportunity to engage in an international
experience without hindering the progression of their studies.
in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
This application form should be completed by current students of Bond University, both Australian and International, who wish to be
considered for participation in exchange programs, conducted between Bond University and these partner institutions.
Students will need to have completed at least two semesters of study (equivalent of 80 credit hours) and be in good academic standing.
Subject to School approval, courses taken overseas will then count for credit towards a Bond University degree.
Applicants who are successful in this initial application process will then be required to submit an additional application through the Bond
International Office to the Partner Institution for which they are nominated. Each Partner Institution reserves the right to accept or reject any
submitted applications.
It is the responsibility of the student to arrange visas, travel insurance, flights and accommodation in the host country. Bond International
Office will assist students where possible, with general information on these issues. In certain instances, it will be the responsibility of the
student to gather the necessary documents for applications and return them to the Bond International Office by a specified deadline. The
exchange office will then facilitate communication between the partner institution and student via email, postage and / or faxing of necessary
documents.
IMPORTANT: It is vital that students are financially equipped for their overseas trip. Students must have a certain amount of financial
flexibility and they should be in a position to allow for ‘unexpected costs’. Any grants later applied for should be considered a bonus rather
than an essential source of funding for the student’s trip as funds are allocated to students only on arrival and enrolment at the host
destination.
